Faith Formation

Adult FORMation is for any adult in the Lakes Area, from the person who wishes to potentially enter the Church and is interested in what being Catholic really means, to the "Cradle Catholic" who desires to dive deeper into the faith and learn more about what our faith really means. Adult FORMation is engaging, truthful, exciting, and at times even surprising!

Registration and dinner are free! Dinner/Social goes from 6:00-6:45pm each Tuesday, with the main teaching and discussion session starting officially at 6:45pm, going until 8pm.

Adult FORMation will be held at Saint Alice Church in Pequot Lakes. If you are interested, please call the office to sign-up. 218-568-4760

Education in our Catholic faith is an important part of our formation as Christ’s disciples. This is especially true for our youth.
Classes for grades 1-4 will take place at the parish during the school day. Parents of Eagle View Elementary students should have received registration forms at open house. If you did not receive one, or if your child attends Nisswa Elementary, please contact Lisa for a registration form, or pick one up at any of the churches, or call the parish office at 218-568-4760.
Classes for the older students will be held in Pine River (grades 3- 10), Nisswa (grades 5-10), and Pequot Lakes (grade 11: confirmation class) on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–8 p.m. Mass on Wednesday evenings is at St. Alice at 5:00 p.m. Dinner for students and their families will begin at 5:30 p.m. at all three locations.

First Reconciliation/First Communion classes will be held in Pequot Lakes on Sunday afternoons beginning in October. These classes will be for students in grades 2 and up who have not previously received these sacraments.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a journey of faith for persons who are not baptized, who are baptized in another Christian tradition and desire to become Catholic, and baptized Catholics in need of First Communion and/or Confirmation.
